‘Meet Dave’, he’s a nice guy, nothing unusual to report, only that Dave is no ordinary person. A race of tiny humanoid aliens have landed on earth, and their “spaceship” of sorts is a 6ft human representation of their leader – Dave. Soon the Aliens have to discover what world Earth is and if they can integrate their society with average human beings.

I think the general idea of the film is good, but i think the plot overall was taken far to far.
The film starts very quickly... Staring eddie murphy as the captain of the 6ft "spaceship" (also ship).
The film has a few laughs but was a little dissapointed, the plot was ok, but the acting was terrible.

A clever idea that could have been taken much further, as illustrated by Toy Story, for instance. Officer Dooley (Scott Caan) offered an excellent storyline, demonstrated by the events in the police station. Instead it got bogged down in a formulaic storyline, with a formulaic cast and a predictable ending. Possibly worth watching on a dull & wet afternoon.
